This movie worked on so many levels, and Eddie Murphy proved that he is still a freakin' genius. Da'Vine Joy Randolph is a star and I can't wait to see what she does next. The attention to detail was amazing...the costume design was brilliant, and there was even a little nod to Blade with Wesley Snipes' character that I assume was intentional because this movie was perfection. I knew it would be funny and thought-provoking, but I didn't expect it to be touching and heartwarming. It made me laugh, made me think, and also brought me joy...everything a person in quarantine during a global pandemic could want in a movie <3
