WORST movie ever, I regret to say. As much as I want to support minority roles in any feature film, the movements, the story line, and the lead in this film is terrible.

I loved this movie, just now finding it /seeing. I love Nicole Beharie, a beautiful spirit and lovely lady. (Loved her in American Violet also.). The intimate scene with Nicole and the daughter father, really resonated. But the all too common self centeredness of the man and teenage, while the women/ mom is breaking her back and sacrificing all of herself..., had me so upset! I was deeply satisfied to see the daughter finally take notice and work toward discovering herself while begging to honor her mom. Very good ending.

20mins into watching and I’m already crying... Powerful Spirit and hearts. I hope they make a spin off from this, maybe called ‘Did He Find Her’! His face when saw and heard her...priceless! (@clip 19:20-20:03, and then he confirmed... too cute!) #PatrickRiddick. My final thought is (as I continue to watch)... where are the white man? OMG!!! This movie is so good! I was laughing cry and clutching my pearls! Oh my, baby what! Haha haha! That 26’ish going about that version so gracefully...!
