It's not scary old horror movies are not scary to me when you watch it but some scenes did shock me like the mom caught her son watching the tape. Like that shocked me and I was scared for the boy. But the sacredness comes when you're trying to sleep at night. That's the big part. I like it when I am not scared by horror movies but I'm scared later after the movie. But overall this was a really great movie I recommend watching it. But I think it's better than the American and Korean versions because well the ring sounds and seems more for like a Japanese culture than American or Korean cultrule.
