I have tried and tried to like this game but I just can't. In the end, this game is just a total, utter waste of money. This game tops my list of the most worthless games I’ve ever played, as well as the worst (in terms of cost versus playability) that I’ve ever purchased. Pros 1. Graphics of the story line are good. Cons 1. The game is totally unrealistic. I get that it's not supposed to be a flight simulator, but should it really take 20 hits with missiles to destroy one single, normal plane? 2. Your "wingmen" do absolutely nothing. They don't kill enemies, you can't tell them who to attack; they do nothing. All they do is talk and get on your nerves. 3. The developer's idea of "let's make this game challenging" is just annoying. On just about every level, they force you through some kind of ridiculous weather which IMO just ruins the game. And on the remaining levels, they just find some ridiculous excuse to take away your radar. I purchased this game because I wanted to fly around and kill enemies; not fly around looking at a gray screen getting shot at by an enemy I have no radar to identify, in 2021... If you want to make a marginally realistic flying game without radar, make it in the WWI era, before radar existed. 4. Zero multiplayer, zero. There is no online play to this game. Once you’re done with the campaign, you’re done. Want to get all those extra expensive multiplayer unlockables? Why? You can’t play the game on multiplayer anyway. Want to get them still? Awesome. I hope you enjoy playing the same few levels OVER AND OVER again. 5. No cross-platform support. I'd imagine that if CPS was supported then you'd be able to find a multiplayer game, but it's not, so you can't. Again, once you play through the campaign, you're done. 6. Per bullets 4 and 5, this game has NO replay value. NONE. Once you beat the campaign (15-20 hours) that’s it. Bottom Line - Don’t buy it. Don’t waste your money on a 20-hour game. I can think of literally tens of thousands of things that are a better use of the money. This is the worst game I’ve ever played.

Hands down the worst game I've ever played. Struggling to understand how this game ever passed QA or beta, or if Gearbox even understands what these terms mean. The game is extremely buggy. Half the time that you pick up a weapon the description gets stuck on your screen and you have to pause and unpause to make it go away. Multiple story missions have glitched at the end of the mission forcing me to reset the game and track all the way back the point of interest to complete the mission. The map doesn't tell you where side missions are so you have to google the locations of those. Must play with people or grind for HOURS just to level up enough to beat normal bosses. Matchmaking sucks. You can't select a game that is the same mission you are like in BL2; the option doesn't exist. Alternatively, the option that selects a game for you always pairs you with someone much higher or lower even though the game mode states "will pair you with players of similar level". This means the higher person is already much further than you (and has already completed your mission), and if you join the lower person you'll have to go re-do whatever missions they haven't done to catch them up (and hope they dont leave). When you actually join a level it doesn't place you near the other players so you have to travel across the entire map to catch up unless there is a vehicle (which can be teleported to). There are, however, lots of maps without vehicles so you're pretty much screwed. Maybe Gearbox needs to brush up on early elementary mathematics because level 30 is twice of that of 15, which is not "close". In summary, don't buy this game unless you like repeating things for no reason, have 3 other people committed to playing it with you, or just have 60 bucks to waste.
