Entertaining, with lots of action packed scenes. Story line interesting with a nice twist, although it feels rushed in places with not enough time spent on developing the characters. Definitely worth watching but is unlikely to be considered a masterpiece like the original.

Pros Great campaign with lots of historical references. Some improvements from previous series such as walls Graphical destruction is impressive Factions feel completely different, not just the same faction with a different skin. Cons Cartoony graphics for units Gameplay doesn't feel as good as other AoEs Can't change certain keybinders AI acts stupidly. I think the remastered AoE are better than AoE4, this is a personal opinion and maybe a biased as I grew up with the originals. I'm such younger players may prefer the gameplay of Aoe4. I have played it on a game pass but would not consider buying once this expires.
