Excellent new portrayal of the Joker with brilliant acting by Joaquin Phoenix. He plays a very haunting and disturbed character to perfection. In my opinion he is worthy of an Oscar for his performance. This is obviously a new take on the early life of how the joker evolved but is just very well put together. It is slow in parts but it certainly very gripping once it gets going. All in all a great film with many good performances especially by Joaquin. Go see it you will definitely enjoy it! 5/5
