I love the cast. It is great to see characters that represent all Americans. While some reviews have stated a liberal agenda, what I see and feel is a show trying to support the underdog. So far the writing shows characters striving to have empathy, honesty and basic human decency towards their fellow man. I love a show that understands how to incorporate the Golden Rule into their culture. This show isn’t as ‘high brow’ as The Good Wife or The Good Fight which gives it a Everyman (person) feel. It has been my experience that justice is for the rich: who ever has the most money wins. If you don’t believe that Evil triumphs when people (sic) do nothing, then this type of show is not for you! Guess I just like pragmatic characters and this show is full of them!!! And most judges don’t have real-life experience. They got that right.
