Im no movie critic but I sure have alot of things to say about this movie. I have been waiting for this movie since I was a 5 year old boy watching my first Godzilla movie back in 2010 . I remember there came a time where GVK was cancelled to make Pacific Rim 2. But this movie is finally here. Was this movie worth the 12 year wait? Yes of course ! But there are a few issues that I have with the movie. One of them being how the movie starts with Kong already in confinment. Im pretty sure everyone would have liked to see how he was taken off Skull Island. Another part that I feel like we shouldv'e seen is King Kong reacting to Ghidora's call from King of the monsters.Also adding more time with Mecha Godzilla. Another part I dont like is that how you can break into a billion dollar business by breaking the security lock with a screw driver or disabeling mechagodzilla by pouring whiskey on the computer. But hey, sometimes you have to let a movie be a movie. So I understand that. But the one thing I have a huge problem with is the runtime. I mean c'mon ! 1hr53 minutes is a big blow. The scenes that I said that shoud've been in the movie could have added a good 15 minutes. The movie should have been at least 2 and a half hours long. The good parts about this movie was the action was superb, the graphics were spot on! and watching King Kong being able to speak sign was totally badass. Just seeing how smart Godzilla and Kong is completley awesome. I also liked how Godzilla and Kong were able to make amends and decided that they can coxist peacefully. So because I waited 12 long years, I feel like this would be a good 4.25 stars.
