The scariest thing about this movie is the incest.

I know most would probably disagree with me but I consider this to be John Carpenter's best film.

Wasn't good but it worked a bit due mostly to some of the good performance by Dennis Hopper.

The ultimate slasher but I'm not much of a slasher fan. Dark and grainy which can be good actually.

I don't get why this is considered one of the worst of the franchise. As insane as it sounds, I personally liked it more than the original mainly to the funny aspects of some of the characters like Alfredo as a prime example.

The remake is better and the original is certainly the best.

Not as good as the original but far from bad remakes. It's entertaining and still has likeable characters.

I honestly did not care much for this film. I know this is not a popular opinion. I find it to be overrated and it is not a horror film when you think about it. It is rated PG and it is not really scary. Given that, the intention for it was not to be funny either so what emotion was it supposed to generate!

It is a good film for a slasher but it is not as good as the best of horror films that are not slashers.

Gross and overrated. Like Jaws, I fail to see what all the hype was about.
