Mirror's edge catalyst has a great free roam area after you've finished the game and the game is outstanding with it's insane graphics and it's awesome game-play! It can be educational to help with path-finding skills and can help people think quicker in tight situations. This game can be "educational" and fun to play at the same time! This game is great for people over the age of 10 or 11 years of age! It is recommended for 16+ of an age range, but my 12 yo son loves this game a lot and plays it so much! They say it taught them how to play other games easier, such as assassins creed II! We told him that we don't really want him buying that game, but he said it was on sale when he got it, so I guess that's okay! As long as he doesn't replicate the actions from the video game in real life.
I think there are definitely a few cons about this game that you should be aware of before buying. I have played this game to the end of it and it was a thrilling adventure, but here are the cons; There may be lag, depending on your graphics card (The game can crash on certain settings as well). There are no save files (We found out a way to make save files, just email me and I can tell you how but I might be busy with work). The game may not be appropriate for young audiences (Under 9 years old). Last of all, the game can be extremely violent, so it depends what kind of parent, or person you are. If you do not like violent games, this game is not for you! So be aware.
Just a quick heads-up before buying; the side quests in the game can be enraging, so please take breaks if you have any type of anger issues, also consult a doctor if you think this game is okay for you (if you have any medical conditions, epilepsy, severe motion sickness, anger issues) You can get motion sick and have seizures by playing this game, so please consult your doctor to see if this game is right for you.
If you have read through this whole comment, I have to say thank you! I appreciate it and I hope this helped you make your choice.
