Nick Johnson

Excellent movie with real philosophical undertones. Although it appears ridiculous on the surface, the success of this franchise was due to its thoughtful approach to the storyline and the relatable character of Taylor, played by Charlton Heston. The story is a reflection on the human condition, a sharp criticism of the prejudice and short sightedness of Christianity, and an excellent sci-fi action movie too. I couldn't manage to get through all the sequels though!
