Beautiful book, meant to read it for 25 years... then finally did. Poignant and sometimes quite sad but ultimately life-affirming, with Mr B never getting sentimental, just stating facts and straightforward feelings. Wonderful. I read it slowly towards the end as I didn't want to finish it!
