You can understand how some people would be bored with this. It takes effort and looking at my 17yr old daughter flit through social media, people don't have the "time" to come to their own interpretation of a story. They need to be told. Like Alien comes to earth, guns are deployed, alien is strong and overwhelms/is defeated. Explosions. Boom, boom etc. This is not at all like that genre. The horrid beach scene will have you thinking about it long after you’ve seen it, especially if you have children and/or love dogs.. The gradual human connection she makes from having nothing, no empathy no nothing. Lust. The fear she feels as she is being pursued. So much in this film. Brilliant.
