This is god damn good movie. Full of action, fighting, incredible CGI and Visual Effects, to the point where you have no idea what's really in the original shot of the film and what isn't. Not only were the effects and editing that went into that movie great, but the casting was just godly. Jon Watts definitely met our high hopes with this movie. This movie was an amazing way to end Phase 3 of the MCU and ended with the biggest cliffhanger of the century, not exaggerating. With that ending Jon Watts basically knew there would be swarms of people crowding around the cinema to watch Spider-Man 3. Everyone working on that set all had such great chemistry off camera and that connection and friendship really showed in this movie. The acting of the movie was so natural and it didn't seem like these people are actors playing these roles at all. These actors really gave it their all in this movie, I'm not saying Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man and plays him perfectly, he definitely doesn't, the MCU's Spider-Man definitely does need a lot of fixing and tweaking but he did his best for the role and just did what Jon Watts told him to do. Jon Watts absolutely nailed this movie. Going into the cinema every single fan knew that this movie was going to be a box office hit and leaving everyone was absolutely star struck. Nobody saw it coming and everyone couldn't wait until Spider-Man 3 would be released, and with the confirmation of Jamie Foxx coming back to reprise his role as Electro, Alfred Molina coming back to reprise his role and Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin we all know the sensation of Spider-Man 3 will blow the roof of the box office. Anyway back to Spider-Man: Far From Home, this movie was an absolute showstopper and deserves the $1 billion. The reason I'm giving it only 3 stars though, is solely because of the way the MCU, especially Jon Watts, has portrayed this character. It's not that true to the original comics, and that's my main problem, Peter Parker does not need all the help he gets in his two MCU solo movies, he has to mess up and he has to face bad consequences that both Andrew Garfield's and Toby Maguire's Spider-Man have experienced. I hate the way Aunt May is portrayed, Marissa Tolmei is a great actor and can play any role very well, but the reason I don't like MCU's Aunt May isn't her fault, it's Jon Watts' fault. Aunt May is a supportive, helpful, king and loving aunt of Peter's, who constantly worries about him because she loves him, but in this movie her love for Peter is absent and uses Peter for her own personal gain, she is not worried about Peter at all even though she knows that he is Spider-Man and puts his life on the line everyday, but she doesn't seem to care. And even when Peter woke up in the Netherlands, it was so easy for him just to call up Happy and get saved without any consequence at all for losing to Mysterio, which he deserved but again not consequence. And even when Peter was crying, saying he can't beat Mysterio, it was Happy that gave him a speech, not Aunt May. Even Peter's friends are so one dimensional, they have no personal lives, Gwen Stacy had such a good personal life that the fans knew so well that when she died at the end of the second movie, fans felt so heartbroken because we, as an audience, felt so connected to the character, but when a member of Peter's friend group in the MCU dies, we won't really feel that much sadness, except when Ned dies, everyone loves Ned. Great movie and lots of action and heroics but not very true to the comics in terms of the characters, which is why I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 stars.
