Predictable and the parts that are based on historical events are pretty badly done. If you’re a WW2 buff you will be disappointed on the characters and chain of events/actions taken. But honestly all that isn’t terrible, it is tolerable and can be overlooked with enough effort. What really kills me is the main character and the super PC approach to the characters and their dialogue. Speaking of dialogue, it is horrible, really forced and awkward. The graphics and special effects are enjoyable enough, but all and all this seems like a great movie idea that had horrible writing and threw wildly inaccurate elements in it just to please/appease sensitive people in audiences. Bottom line, I wanted to like it but it was just horrible. Pros- well funded and good visual effects. Cons- story line started creatively but went flat and predictable. Poor character development and dialogue, definitely the weakest point. The airborne sequence was flashy and shiny, but horrible dialogue and actions ruined it. I do not recommend. I’ve enjoyed far lower budget films with similar story lines that just had much better writing.
