I enjoyed the movie; however, I felt cheated by the ending. There was only a hint of Diane’s background. Then a twist in the ending. Seven years later, Chloe hints at her present life. And about the pills she’s giving Diane...how long? And is that keeping her out of a normal prison?

I watched this movie ages ago, and yet I never forgot it. It is one of my favorite movies. Farley Mowat is the author. He also wrote The Natural, also made into a movie. I think this movie is about perseverance. It is a warning about man's interference with nature. Each creature serves a purpose. Man is the natural enemy of so many creatures. Animals are going extinct every year. I love this movie.

I didn't believe for one minute that this movie would be scary. I would label it adult fantasy. It is a story of hope. It's about finding one's purpose, learning that we all have a purpose. And we are all connected. Believing can create change. I think it is a wonderful story.
