Multiplayer is completely broken - disconnects are the norm, graphics are from 1990's, the swing timing feature is so maddeningly difficult (multiplayer uses "PRO" difficulty settings only) that only about 1 out of 10 matches ever finish with the same number of golfers who started... most people just rage-quit out of hopeless frustration. Been playing this game for a few months, but I finally wrote this review after 6 unsuccessful attempts in a row at an online match... in 5 of the rounds half the players rage-quit after the first hole, but worse is that I couldn't actually complete ANY round... every single one disconnected, and my internet is fast and stable. Figured this game would be a fun way to scratch the golf itch in these winter months, but I think I'd just rather wait for the real thing. Hardcore golf-sim fans will probably love it, but this game just plain sucks for casual gamers. Probably why they gave it away for free on PS Plus so soon after it's paid release.

Awesome game, overall, but definitely NOT for beginners or casual racers. The Career Mode is especially challenging for those who don't enjoy racing in EXTREMELY bad weather conditions, since there's no way to "turn off" the monsoon-like rains that often come without warning. Seriously, you'll be at 1/2 throttle, for MOST of the duration of the rain races. And while driving an incredibly fast, finely-tuned race car reeeeeeally slow in the rain may be more "realistic", I don't consider it all that much fun. Everything else, though, is top notch. Certainly in the top tier of sim-racing games for consoles. For what it's worth, I race with the G29 wheel.
