The film wasn't awful but it contradicted itself so many times that I got bored even after the awful pep talk with the girl Jean. not saying its a bad film. Just saying it disappointed me. especially since I was expecting more effort for an X-men movie.
When I saw it on fathers day i weren't that bored but I felt like I was watching a practise rather than an actual movie. Forget if you enjoyed it. If your reviewing something look at the production of the film and the Visual Looks.
Visually Its amazing but when you have to mention one of those beautiful scenes, you can't describe it cause the story is so bland you forget what was happening in that scene. the story was either on point or just dipping a little bit and when i say this i don't mean to destroy this film to shreds, but I really don't like this films flow and the way it dealt with situations. whenever Jean Couldn't control her power she always went into battle, someone got hurt or she goes on rampage. its not needed and just stupid. i get she's scared of her power but she's not Elsa From frozen. she could control her powers if the story decided to rewrite the script into a better path.
I understand the film is ment to be as close to the comics as possible but if your gonna make it into a film. make it film standard. it had the length of a film. it had the billing as a film. but i can barely consider it a film.4/10
