Maybe it's OK if you haven't read the novels and approach with a clean slate but as a fan of the written work I can only shake my head and ask why. This TV series adds and removes characters and changes the way the story unfolds soo much that it is virtually unrecognizable as the name it claims. Could have been so good but is just so disappointing. It's just a shame that Jeter Jackson isn't involved; the books are an amazing story that could have been brought to life..
