This was not the type of documentary that I was expecting about The Villages. The characters, one who was homeless and looking for a mate to take him in, a lonely widow looking for companionship, and a couple dealing with psychological issues, are not unique to The Villages. What I would like to have seen is the people who are enjoying their retirement years in a place that caters and offers enjoyable activities for older folks. I don’t believe there is a utopia. Life will never be perfect. If someone is unhappy there, they can’t find another place to live? Would have liked to see what is positive in this living environment for seniors.
