Such a good book, it made me cry! Easily in my top five favorites. It helps you see how grateful you are, and it touches your soul with the relationship between Jonas and the Giver. Overall would recommend for anyone 12+, because there is some VERY vague sexual content, nonviolent murder, and it may be confusing to younger kids.
