A fan of the Witcher 3 video game. I tried the books with less success. Binge watched season 1 - wiki in hand. Questions from game became clearer. Not all revealed in episode 8.
Timelines were a challenge. I don’t know how a novice would cope? Great female characters with their own agendas - not just window dressing
