It made me incredibly uncomfortable and cringe. The director really wanted to upset the audience. And I felt worried for the young actresses doing all that infront of a film crew, who were probably majority male. And if the young girls have social media...worries me more, creeps will flock to their feeds. Yes, the director did too much with underage girls. I notice this issue in some directors, some get tunnel vision on their story and forget the actors are human beings who should be kept safe and not just props in their story/vision. Surprises me that a woman would put little girls in that sexploitative situation. But overall I liked it. I thought the acting was OUTSTANDING of the actress playing Amy. Her character's mental health issues, her being parentified too young, the school girls dynamic with her being low income, and her father's betrayal. It was good, just very hard to get watch.
