SPOILER-FREE: Most people who are hating this game are just complaining about the political risks Naughty Dog chose when making this game. They did something really different and controversial, but that doesn't change the fact that it's an amazing game to play in almost every way. The graphics and user interface in this game are incredible, I never felt so free and open in a story-based game, it's almost open-world in a way. Additionally, people mostly hate on the story because it's a hard pill to swallow, but it doesn't change the fact that it's good and real. What I love most about this game is how real it feels, played hundreds of other survival horror games like these, and never have I felt how I feel with this game, like this really could happen. People are hating on it because it deals with painful loss and makes you feel bad for the decisions you make when emotion overrules you and the costs of revenge. It's meant to teach you to end chains of hate, which is something some people morally don't want to do and it's why they hated the game. It really depends on your morals and what you think is right and wrong on whether you enjoy the game's story or not.
