Really really enjoying this show! The only NCIS show Ive watched all of was NCIS New Orleans which I enjoyed but nothing like this Origins show. Ive watched some of the recent episodes of NCIS the original show & feel its good but not great. I may try to go back & watch it from the beginning as I suspect it was a better show in early days. But this NCIS Origins show is fantastic. I love the Gibbs character as well as his relationships with his peers. I feel its well cast. I particularly love his evolving relationship with his boss as well as the female lead, his partner. I dont understand the negative reviews but Im guessing most may be OG fans of NCIS original show. I appreciate the depth of Origins show especially in Gibbs character. Theres a wonderful balance between crime-solving and character development. I cant wait to see what unfolds. Next to the new Will Trent show on ABC, this is equally one I am so eager to watch each week. Thats rare these days.

5 stars is based on how much I truly enjoy watching this show. It is one of the few shows I actually cant wait to be aired each week. Unlike some viewers (but in line with many others), I love the refreshing feel of this show. I have enjoyed the FBI trilogy of shows for example but honestly so many of them & other crime solving shows are just starting to feel the same & run together. So for me this show is a wonderful change of pace. The scenery alone makes it different. It's a beautiful backdrop for a crime-solving show. And I love the leads, Sutherland in particular. He's a bit awkward & shy at times which makes him an interesting & lovable lead character. But as Chief all of that melts away. Adding the romantic storyline for him is enjoyable to watch. Love seeing the buildup of that relationship & am curious to see how it goes. With his daughters as well. I also enjoy the mix of characters and ethnicity which makes the show more interesting. It's an intriguing group of characters. And the crimes they need to solve each episode are well-written and entertaining to watch get unraveled. It's a different beat than in other shows. To me, well worth a watch! Just expect something different. When you need something "lighter" & beautiful but still intriguing this is that. I sure hope we get many seasons out of this show!!

Interesting. A different twist to see celebrities, reality stars & athletes in this difficult environment. I like the Staff training them. Real military operatives & trainers. A good mix of military-like toughness & some degree of empathy. I enjoy seeing their psychological chats! The scenery is beautiful. I found it interesting to watch the celebrities expose their "weaknesses", mental & physical. Some have attitudes. Great to see them knocked down a bit. Worth a watch in my view!

It's somewhat enjoyable but needs help for sure! I'd give it a 3.5/5. I watch it when tired & need a break from crime-solving shows or reality tv! lol. The scenery & houses are stunning which is part of its draw to me for sure. The mom/daughter bickering gets a little old. The cases are simplistic. It reminds me a bit of the simplicity of Hallmark movies, lacking some great acting & substance but a beautiful setting & likable enough. Hopefully it'll come back for a 2nd Season but with some upgrades. The handsome ex-boyfriend sure helps! ;)

I would've given 3.5 but couldn't. I like the Latin flavor of the show- of the locale & of the ladies. It's different! Do I love all the ladies? No. I like Dr Nicole, feel badly for Lisa & think Marysol is often funny. Still don't like Larsa's personality or lack there of & how she dresses, etc. Kiki is so different this season! How she looks but a little more of a personality I guess. Guerdy seems a nice person but I still find her annoying. Just tries too hard! & getting full of herself. Julia I like but less so, she's crabby & it's less fun cuz she & Martina are clearly not happy. They do need to bring in 2-3 new people at least! Definitely get rid of Larsa- there's one spot! Guerdy too- there's another! & make Marysol Full-time.

Fyi i haven't read the books or watched Justified before so... For me, it's interesting, clever & refreshing. Different from the rest. It's not your typical crime-solving show which is a welcome change! Placed in different locales with sometimes a gritty backdrop, love it! I appreciate the clever & not so clever humor mixed with ongoing drama & occasional action. There's intrigue and twists & turns. It's a great cast with interesting characters, some seemingly complex, some not. I like Olyphant & the female attorney & was so happy to see Deacon from King of Queens again! I find the relationship with his daughter curious & look forward to seeing how it develops. Extra points for it being Olyphant's in real life daughter, that's a fun fact in my eyes! So far the show has held my attention and makes me interested enough to see its unfolding. We're in desperate need for good new shows so for me, this fills that! Especially with the ongoing Writers Strike cuz God knows how many we'll get & when our old Faves will return. Even though only 8 episodes (bummer!), this is worth a watch!
