Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Be entertaining.. if you really believe that Bigfoot is real, then you have an entirely different set of issues.

I sympathize with everyone who read the books and are disappointed with the show. Happens to me everytime they try to make a Stephen King novel into a movie or a show. However, since I am not an Anne Rice reader, I like the show. Not great but entertaining enough

I guess theres nothing wrong with remaking a classic but this pales in comparison on every level to the original. I just don't see the point.

This is an embarrassment to the original series. Absolutely terrible in every phase. Writing is terrible. Acting is even worse. They needed to leave well enough alone.

Movie overall is outstanding. Deniro, Kilmer, and a great support cast. But it shows just how overrated Pacino is. He has had 2 stand out roles in his career which is Godfather 2 and Serpico. The rest is no comparison to Deniros work.
