A mismatch of ideas, some of which work, and others that don't. It's hard to get past the fact that the two leads look nothing like Lucille Ball or Desi Arnaz, but that aside they give great performances. The bigger problem is that Sorkin vaccelates between rom com, political satire, and TV docudrama, before landing on the ending. There's a version of this film that is great...but this isn't it

There's half a good movie here. But the ridiculous plot and really bleak finale completely ruins the movie
