*Sigh* Here we go... When I first heard of this show it sounded like it had promise on terms of science fiction and it did on some parts, but everything else? No. Absolutely not. The human characters come off as nothing but selfish, hypocritical, and dare I say it... they at times lack common sense. The love triangle they keep pushing between the three main characters is just all out confusing and to be honest if you didn't have it in it wouldn't change a thing. There was also a supposed comedy scene in one episode during a funeral but it was ultimately trashy and I didn't laugh at all. Not only that but there are a few cliches here and there. The mermaids are actually kind of decent from a zoological stand point. Like I said the science fiction was okay and the casting choice for the lead mermaid was a good pick! If I had to give this series a rating for how it's going overall I'd give it a 5/10.
