Possibly one of the most enjoyable shows in the not just Pretty Cure but the magical girl genre. Smile Pretty Cure is an anime with a simple premise but became a very effective season due to the fact it’s so much fun to watch and it knows when to be humorous, emotional, and serious, which the latter two tend to have a lot of heart in. The season’s strongest point are it’s characters filled with personality and the interactions among them. I think my personal favorite character is Miyuki aka Cure Happy due to her endearing backstory (and movie) about her autism, making her easily relatable. Plus, she’s such an entertaining and innocent girl. Highly recommended for those looking for a fun and charming show that’s easy to binge watch.
