I'll admit the first couple of seasons are a bit slow, but it was how i fell in love with it. They took the time for you to get to know the characters and develope a relationship of sorts with them. Every Character is unforgettable and every season builds to a point: Underneath all of the drugs, crime, swearing, and adult situations, is a show about friendship, family, and love.

This was mind blowingly spectacular. My god it had so many twists and turns that i didn't see coming. A brilliantly written lightning in a bottle followed by an A+++ cast. It even has a touch of humor, but it doesn't come off as forced or shoe horned in. Just goes to show what lies deep in the mind of a comedian. Highly recommend.

I think it is very under appreciated and deserved more credit than it got. I myself am not a fan of slasher/gore/body horror but this one was well written and even believable (if not a bit stereotypical lol). It had a good mixture of violence, suspense, and psychological elements which makes this a good gem. Unfortunately since it's shadowed by absolutely terrible and imo insulting sequels i can only give 4 stars.

I watched it again for the first time in years and while i admit i remember it being better (i was pretty young though), i still say it is definitely worth checking out. It's well written and portrayed by a talented cast. It's an intentionally cheesy 90's horror/comedy that still holds up pretty well even today.
