Initially it didn't meet my expectations. But now, more than 50 episodes through, I can confidently say that the show is very unique in its own way: decent storyline, good focus on each character, and yes, some mindblowing digivolutions and excellent choice of soundtracks. The show might get a bit lame in between but that's just because of our expectations. Else, it's a really worthy pick for someone who watched Digimon Adventures 1 & 2 during their younger days. Break The Chain!
