This is absolutely just my kind of movie - complex, great characters, historical fiction, smart, ingenious, with a diverse cast showcasing good over evil. Ralph Fiennes does an amazing job with this very physical role. Although this couldn't be termed a box office hit, I would love to see more of this kind of sharp, active, mysterious, triumphant story.

I love, I love, I love Matthew McFadyen. Great movie with fun characters, highlighting the foibles of life and how, in the end, it is all a farce, anyway. Highly recommend

Johnny Depp does a fantastic portrayal of one man's involvement in the burgeoning drug trade originating in Mexico and South America, and the consequences to him and his family as a result of that involvement. George Jung is the main character who spends significant time in prison for his drug distribution, and recently passed away at the age of 78.

I experienced this movie as slow moving, convoluted, uninteresting and tedious. I am sure there are other movie aficionados that have different criteria for reviewing movies. However, I'm just an average Josephina looking for a good movie to watch. I had to set the English subtitles separately on my TV bc the subtitles were not automatic on this foreign language film. It is 2 hours long, which is TOO LONG, especially for the ponderous, lumbering, poorly lighted presentation that this movie provided. I was not captured by the characters. Their internal and interpersonal conflicts did not grab me. I was bored and watching the movie felt like work. If you are into self-torture, watch this movie. I became resentful bc that is 2 hours of my life that I will never get back. This movie is a big fat NO.

I love Grogu, my little Baby Yoda. He is my favorite.
