Easliy their best album since Smokes and Mirrors. The tracklist and the diversity of themes that they explore, truly shows the best side of imagine dragons.
The album can be a little bit inconsistent at times with sticking to one theme or genre, but, the song choices in the tracklist, more than makes up for that.
I kinda feel the same way for this album like I did for Linkin Park's M2M, which ironically, too was produced by rick rubin.
Themes of the album revolves around mental health, loosing a loved one, Dan's love for his wife and a sense of optimism in the songs like IT'S OKAY.
Overall a pretty solid album from start to end. Every song feels like it have a purpose on the album. A 3 year wait was well deserved in the end.
