This film deals with issues related to absent fathers and damaged kids, as well as our yearning for outer space discovery and delights while ignoring our own beautiful planet, at our peril, including the damage to animals. It felt real and yet allegorical, with good special effects and compelling performances. Was it fun? No, but I’m glad I saw it. Certain images will stay with me, and the lingering message at the end. See it on the big screen!
