Probably one of best cinematic masterpieces I've ever seen. Everything from the breathtaking visuals to the technicals (lube to cool the drill for the brain juice extraction!) really helped make the world come to life. I felt like I was in it for parts of it. Being in the Navy, one of my biggest fears during deployment is the ship going under, and everything from the crew's escape procedures to the inability to escape the ship really sold it for me. I also see many complaints about the movie being too long, but I believe it is necessary to build the world for the audience and provide emotional attachments. But I am bias, I would love a 7 hour version if it was possible.
