Planning to watch WAR? You may take a quick peak at the Pros and Cons..and I promise that there are "No spoilers ahead". Why should you watch the movie: 1. Hrithik, Hrithik & Hrithik- Want to know how Greek God looks? Well, it doesn't need any imagination- just look at Hrithik & you'll know. He is just drool-worthy in every scene. Trust me when I say, I have even seen men's jaw dropping on his screen presence. 2. FOMO- You didn't plan your long weekends & now you're restless due to social media FOMO. (Ab Jo itni holidays mile hai toh social media par post Karna toh banta hai na) 3. You're tired of sleeping at home- (So, you thought that you'll sleep in theater) Unfortunately, the makers have ensured that audience go through the pain of watching the entire movie (like they took the pain to really make it) background music and loud maar peet won't let you sleep either. Even if you fall asleep, you won't miss on anything (because the movie is a slomo version of itself) 4. Brilliant acting- Hrithik is effortless, looks his age and does justice to the character he plays. He is the backbone of this movie. However, Tiger can't be overlooked. He has been provided the same screen time in the movie as that of Hrithik and he has utilized it to the fullest. He doesn't seem novice in front of Hrithik, be it his dance moves/ action or expressions he has aced it all. 5. Vacation destination- Are you a travel freak looking for your next destination? This movie has you covered. 6. Vacation outfit inspo- Not only travel destination but Hrithik has given vacation outfit inspo too for men. (But boy, you could have just watched Ghungroo song for it) 7. Love action genre- If you're a hard core action genre lover & don't give a damn about plot, it is a must watch. Action sequences are brilliantly choreographed by 2 International action choreographers- Hollywood & Korea. The sequences look realistic. 8. Captivating cinematography- Each shot is a brilliance and has been thought through. The camera angles couldn't be better. Editing, lighting etc is superb and deserves a mention. The crew has done a phenomenal job. Pointers noone would talk about.. (Obviously, because everyone is busy discussing Hrithik's look): 1. Makers have missed on building Vaani's character as they have missed working on the plot. Her screen time is less than 15 mins and you wouldn't even wonder whether her role was a cameo. (Because you would be mesmerized by Hrithik & Tiger's performance). Her acting seems flat like her character in the movie. 2. Dialogue is inversely proportional to the action sequences on this movie. Jitne ache action sequences hai utne hin faltu dialogues. None of the dialogue leaves an impact. 3. The movie is unbearable due to its weak plot, ineffective dialogues & 154 mins run time with predictable twists. 4. Are you one of those who curse the makers for keeping many irrelevant songs in the movies? Thankfully, the makers have kept only two songs to lessen the pain. Both the songs are well choreographed by Bosco- Ceasar duo. (But woh toh aap Youtube par bhi dekh sakte ho) 5. The movie doesn't evoke a patriotic feeling. It is a pure masala action movie. (Because we are bored of watching 'Rang De Basanti', 'URI', 'Gandhi', 'Mother India', 'Parmanu' on NATIONAL HOLIDAYS)
