As a fan, I was disappointed in the remake. It had too many differences from the original story. Everything that made the Lion King what is was, was taken away. The new remake didn't have much heart and soul put into it. It was pretty dry especially the dialogue. I was impressed with the realism but it lacked the powerful feeling you get when watching the original film.
