This was the first series I watched and I loved it! Being in the 70 plus age group myself I empathised with everyone. I loved their honesty and spontaneity. It was a fascinating look into India’s way of life. Beautiful peaceful and very spiritual. I learned a lot from this series and took away their meditation techniques and am very curious about going there. Henry Blofeld is a joy! I love his voice, laugh, charm and his urbanity. I wish that we learned more of Barbara and John as they, I felt were overshadowed by some of the diva personalities. Zandra Rhodes was wonderful and I hope all was well for her as she left the adventure before the end. Susie Blake one knew from seeing her is completely at one with her love of Buddhism and her faith. A lovely lady. I shall look forward to the next series greatly. Where is one able to see the last three series? I cannot believe it’s passed me by! Yey! I’ve just seen that one is still able to see the past series! What bliss! I’m glad this week is forecast rain!
