I liked everything about this movie except the dialogue. The dialogue was cringy, awkward and out of place at times. I wouldn't be surprised if a 15 year old had written this. other than that, the CGI was insanely good, at par with movies like Harry Potter and Doctor Strange. they could've provided more character development for certain characters rather than spending time on the cliche romance. I do have to say I loved the Astraverse concept, it was pretty damn cool to see the Indian mythology inspired fantasy world. it was surprising to see such a unique and well thought out fantasy concept in Bollywood, although they could've done more worldbuilding. Mouni Roy absolutely carried the movie, loved her character. will be looking forward to watch part 2.

the show starts off a bit slow and confusing but if you stick through it gets so much better. there's a little bit of every genre and the magic reminds me of Harry Potter. the character dynamics are really fun and the costumes and set designs are pretty good. the fantasy stuff is really engrossing. Jung So Min's acting could have been better but the other actors are perfect, especially the crown prince ;)

this drama is so refreshing to watch. it has a very interesting story and characters. it doesn't fall back on the same old tropes, especially when it comes to the male lead, Choi Ung. he's so different from typical male leads. he's not smokin hot, rich or a bad boy. he's very real. he has a normal life and his only goal is to have good food and lead a peaceful life. his laidback attitude adds to the charm and really fits the mood of the show. Choi Woo Shik played him well, beneath the lazy attitude you can see his inner tumoil and his insecurities. you can see how hurt he is by his eyes alone. he's very genuine and is even kind of innocent. great character writing and even better execution. Kim Dami as Yeonsu is kind of annoying to me, she seems a little too rude sometimes but i hope that changes in the future episodes. as of now I'm pretty indifferent, and a little annoyed, by her character. The side characters are pretty good so far, i really like NJ and Ung's friend and manager. the overall atmosphere of the drama, though, is what pulled me in. it has a kind of nostalgic, sweet vibe to it. it's the kind of show you can watch to unwind. the cinematography really adds to the summery vibes and the background music is great. <3

this show feels like a warm hug from a friend, so comforting, cozy and heartwarming. it's a show for book readers and poetry lovers. it romanticizes the slow life in the countryside. the warmth of winter. it takes 2-3 episodes to get used to the slow pace and the story but after that you won't be able to stop watching it. each character is so well written with so much depth, I've never seen this in a kdrama before. they all feel so REAL. the script, the cinematography, the direction, the scenery and the acting are just excellent. the way they portray the emotions of each character without even speaking anything. this is the kind of show where you need to read between the lines to truly understand the characters. i loved all the characters but Shim Myeong Yeo was truly amazing. the actress did such a great job! even minor characters like the guy who liked Hae Won in high school will leave a impact on you (kim young dae looked soo cute here) Park Min Young has won me over with her exceptional acting, and Seo Kang Joon was perfect as Lim Eun Seob. i watched it during winter so it was an even more amazing experience. absolutely love it.

I've watched a lot of extremely popular kdramas (DOTS, Goblin, Extraordinary You, Boys over Flowers, Secretary Kim) but I've never found a main lead as swoon worthy and charming as Rowoon. Rowoon was the star of the show, is acting is so good, so natural, you'll think he really is in love with Songah. the way he portrays emotions with his eyes is incredible. I loved the side characters and how each of their stories slowly unfolded. this drama doesn't have any cringy, exaggerated moments. it's all very natural and realistic yet charming. all the characters have flaws and imperfections which is something I liked. if you like romance and handsome leads, do watch it.

I don't usually watch Saeguk dramas but I'm gonna give this a try since Rowoon is one of my favourite actors. from the very beginning, the drama is really interesting and action-packed. it pulls you in and keeps you engaged. also, the storyline is different from other dramas considering how the FL is the King and is in a higher position than the ML. I'm really looking forward to the next episode, can't wait to see Rowoon in this role, I'm sure he will nail it!

One of my favourite kdramas! this is one of those rare dramas that really know how to make the viewers laugh without making it cringey. I didn't care much about the romance but the humor was just top notch. Kdrama humor is either a hit or miss for me (mostly misses tbh) but this has to be one of the funniest shows I've watched. the side characters are amazing. I loved Han Seojun and his group of friends, Sua, Taehoon, Heekyeong, the homeroom teacher and Jugyeong's little brother. Moon Ga Young is such a nice actress, sometimes her behaviour was a little annoying but I enjoyed her character for the most part. unfortunately Cha Eunwoo/Suho was too bland for me and his lack of expressions, over possessiveness and ugly sweaters were enough to make him an unlikable character. even if you don't like the romance I would suggest you watch it just for the humor alone.

~Mostly spoiler free, I've put a warning for the one spoiler I mentioned~ This show is beautiful. I started watching it because of Lee Jae Wook (he's an insanely good actor) but I really loved it, I honestly didn't expect to finish it so quickly but I breezed through the 16 one hour long episodes. it has such a good pacing and a simple yet engaging plot that you won't be able to stop watching. Lee Jae Wook is absolute gem, having watched his previous works I knew he would do well but I'm still surprised by his versatility and the array of emotions he's able to portray so naturally. his acting is so, so realistic that sometimes I rewatched certain scenes just to see his expressions. I'm convinced he can nail just about any role at this point. Gu Rara is a happy go lucky character, she's quirky but in a good way. I didn't cringe at any point (even though i'm not fond of innocent, childlike leads) , rather I found her to be really entertaining and honestly I would love to be her friend. I like how even after losing her dad and all her money, she was so optimistic. the only thing that annoyed me was how dependent she was on Jun and how unwilling she was to help him with the bills and maintaining the house. he was doing so much just for her and Mimi and it's worse when you think about how she's a grown up taking advantage of a high school student. still Go Ara played the role well and she looked gorgeous despite the questionable outfits. The side characters were SO GOOD. I really loved Dr. Cha, Hayeong, Seunggi, Choi Minsu and Sukgyeong. i loved watching them so much. Dr Cha and the detective guy living together was undoubtedly the funniest part of the show. unfortunately the TWD ladies were really irritating, I just didn't seem to find them funny at all. I felt for Jun's mom because she wanted the best for him but I didn't approve of how overbearing she was. as for the plot, I enjoyed it for the most part except *SPOILER ALERT* I didn't like the terminal illness storyline. they could've just removed it altogether and the show would've been much better. It was kinda random how Jun just came back after 5 years but I'm good at ignoring the endings and making up my own so I wasn't bothered much. and that small storyline shouldn't take away from how good the rest of the show was *END SPOILER* The cinematography was beautiful, the romance was sweet, the osts could've been better, and the characters were amazing. I would really recommend this show if you want a light hearted, well paced and fun story. something that doesn't make you think too much. such a beautiful story and an amazing cast that brought it to life.💐

This is now my favourite kdrama. I went in with low expectations since I had read some bad reviews and I was initially put off by the cliche scenes until I realized that it was satire! then it all made sense lol. the storyline is really unique and the characters are good too but the real gem is the amazing cast. Haru was such a sweetheart (especially in the first half), I feel like Rowoon portrayed him perfectly, his eyes were soo expressive you could see how much he loved Eun Danoh. I'm glad to see the lead here wasn't a cold, emotionless guy instead he was gentle, sweet and caring (and extremely handsome obviously). Kim Hye Yoon's acting wasnt my favourite but I think she tried her best to play a bubbly character. Oh Nam Ju was such a jerk in the beginning but by the end he grew on me and I loved his relationship with Yeo Ju Da. Now coming to my favourites, Lee Do Hwa was such an AMAZING character. I loved his smile, his dimples, his caring nature and his love-hate relationship with his violin. Lee Jae Wook blew me away with his acting. seriously he's such an incredible actor he did a phenomenal job playing Baek Kyung. his subtle expressions and his way of speaking were all so natural, he was able to play such a complex, layered character perfectly. I really want to watch more kdramas of him. I had no idea I would get so attached to this drama. it had amazing cinematography, the most perfect osts ever, and an incredible cast. I loved all the funny moments between A3, their triangle walk was so iconic! Yeo Ju Da's character development was really satisfying to see and the sweet romance of DanHaru was heartwarming 💕 there were quite a few plotholes, some questions left unanswered and an ending that would not be liked by most but the pros outweigh the cons by far. will be watching it again soon <3
