As someone who has actually bought and played the game, I have had so much fun with it. I don’t usually do reviews of games but reading some of these and how everyone wants to discredit the game by saying “The only people who like it are children who haven’t played it” makes me want to give my own two cents.
While I do think the game isn’t completely stellar, it has been so much fun for me personally. I am someone who loves a good challenge, I am very persistent, and I love figuring things out on my own and exploring. A lot of people find the lack of saves and instructions frustrating and I totally get that, but if you are like me these things sort of add to the challenge and adventure in an odd way. I found myself getting so immersed into the game and so focused during the levels (Since I didn’t want to start over) and I can’t say I’ve had any extreme moments of frustration.
I have the game on PS4, and the game doesn’t always work fantastic for me, however there’s never been a moment where the frame rate or glitches affected my experience or gameplay extremely, I can get by pretty well with it. My biggest complaints would be the game performance as well as the story (It’s a bit underwhelming), however I feel like a lot of these reviewers are being way to harsh in certain places.
While it isn’t perfect, I hate the way everyone is trying to discredit the game and the people who enjoy it. I can actually completely understand why some might really dislike this game, but a lot of their issues are not issues for me at all. If you’re thinking about buying the game I think you should definitely take a lot of these more negative reviews into consideration (and yes there are of course people who have positively reviewed who haven’t actually played it) however despite seeing the issues I for one have had a blast and hope you will too!
