Apparently the critics can not grasp certain aspects of the challenges that life can impose. I expect they share little with JD's exposure to such challenges, and then accomplish so much more than they. They lack in talent what JD demonstrates in character. Nice job to the cast. Finally! Acting! So tired of seeing actors play versions of themselves with different names. Ms Close you are incredible! This movie immerses us in the overwhelming circumstances that crush hope. In a modern world of so much entitlement and lack of empathy, I enjoyed a truth of accomplishment supported by determination and family dedication despite the imperfections. Beauty despite the scars. Don't stop Mr. Howard.
