Thrilling movie, yet hard to follow, I didn’t understand the commercial in the beginning which lead to the shadows gathering holding hands at the end across America at the end, I get the underground living situation, but not how the mother who was the initial shadow told the story as if she was the shadow and never seen the light of day, there wasn’t an indication that she was the actual child, until her child realized that his mother was the shadow the entire time. I guess.
