Platform was fun and smooth like Mirror's Edge Catalyst but the combat is too punishing with a one hit death for both player and enemies, at first doesn't seem that bad but after a while gets old trying to destroy orbs that protect enemies, getting shot and doing it again. Good graphics for a budget game and nice voice acting, okish story. Even if you enjoy a good game on high difficulty but aren't a fun of 1 hit kill it may not be for you, otherwise you got a good solid nice priced game.

Good enough for it's release price tag, didn't overstay it's welcome like most open worlds so it never felt too much of the same and the setting is very nice for a themed like this. Gameplay is very solid and although I'm not a fan of the RPG stuff it wasn't too much to break my fun from it, had top level weapons and was still far from the ending. I would say the weakest point is the story, but that's up to debate. 4 out of 5, Timber is a VERY good boy.

Like all the recent AC games it gets very repetitive with pointless loot and land that is pretty to look at but not memorable to explore, Ubisoft again and again mistakes size with fun in this series. < Not all is bad of course, graphics are good and the voice acting is remarkable especially male Eivor. I had fun but after 70h of repetitive mediocre combat and exploration I had to quit what else is a fun well acted story. In my opinion Ubisoft should really drop the countless minigames, activities and focus on making core things good like combat, memorable map to explore with interesting quests in it. After Ghost of Tsushima AC feels even more average for todays standarts.
