The book at the beginning definitely gave more of a realistic and leveled explanation of the differences between women and men , but as i got deeper into the book i found that this book definitely plays into the male and female stereotypes. Seems more of what a female can do to understand a man rather than what a man and woman can do to understand each other. Book gives a very “men are closed off and don’t express themselves” narrative, which in my opinion just adds on to the stereotype that men are not emotionally expressive , which can lead to unhealthy behavior being excused or “normal”.
