A very good movie, excellent racing footage, great personal look into what the relationship might have been between Carol Shelby and Ken Miles. They could have added a scenes or two that showed Shelby’s development of the Mustang into the GT350 race car after the launch of the Mustang and their continuing partnership as well as some glimpse into the early development of the GT40 in the UK before it appears on the tarmac outside the Shelby facility at the LA airport. An introduction to Holman & Moody and John Weir’s crew who were also fielding cars to bolster Fords chances of beating Ferrari, would have explained some things about the other GT40’s in the races. This added background would surely have pushed this Epic to three hours or more, and as is often said, would not have been supporting the main plot... Highly recommended to any fans of mid-sixties racing !
