The idea is good- but the execution? Almost two hours of wondering when it was going to stop plugging random WB characters and start actually focusing on the story. I wish they would have focused on the writing, as a lot of the dialogue felt forced.

There are a lot of movies I wouldn’t watch a second time on Netflix. A lot. This is at the bottom of that list. You would have to refund me my entire Netflix subscription fees for life to watch this movie a second time. The predictability of the plot, ridiculousness of Jamie foxx’s “motive,” the attempt at forcing us to feel for Fishback’s mom without actual character development? Let’s be real here - this was lazy writing. Someone dreamed up a movie idea and roped in Jamie and Joseph ( of whom I both love) for some quick cash. I feel for them because there probably was a way to develop this into a winner of a movie- but whoever produced this was looking for a quick paycheck and didn’t care about quality. 1/10 don’t watch. COVID has already stolen so much of 2020... don’t give more of it to the waste of time that is this movie.
