It is an interesting story that could picture real life cases; however, I don't think it reflects the raw reality that those that are unfairly prosecuted suffer or the atrocities that a judicial system can commit in order to maintain appearances for a political campaign or military status. Instead, they replace it with a forced happy ending and little supported, that leads no-where and takes off all sentimentalism and empathy that the previous story builded up.
As fiction it can work, and it is entertaining, in adition to the cinematic production and acting are catchy. But if they wanted to transmit the feeling of being powerless by seeing someone being erroneously executed for the personal reasons of a military high command, it lost the message completely.
It's not the worst film I've watched, and it has actually good aspects like I said, such as photography, acting and setting in general... but I wouldn't watch it twice if I could choose.
