Not a great start to this series. Laughable plot of unemployed family who start a stall selling fried herrings and within a few weeks have invested and earned a quarter of a million allowing them to move into a mansion and become lords and ladies of the manor. Might get better but I doubt it

Philip. You’re no different to millions of people who’ve been made redundant or been sacked. Bitterness is normal but the only way out of your anguish is to forge a new life as millions do. You’re not defined by what you used to do but what you can offer now

Boring, stylised film. I’m sure Tolkiens life was much more rounded than this arty nonsense. I’d be very interested to see a real depiction of his life but this doesn’t get close

Oh dear Guy. Loved your films but this is pants. It’s a bit like you wanted to make another Raiders of the Lost Ark but developed it in the pub with your mates when you were all pissed. No plot but scene after scene of shoot ups. Sad thing it was based on a true story which you should have had respect for. Basically a very lazy movie relying on endless shooting scenes than telling what was, probably, a very heroic story. Shame on you Guy, you are so much better than this. Absolutely brilliant film. Great story, well written and acted. Wish there were more films of this quality

Very boring. Thin plot, just rich people on holiday, mostly vacuous got bored after ten minutes gave up. Next😂

Too hard. Popmaster on the radio gave you a good chance of getting the answer. Too many rounds are too difficult and are largely modern music. Such a shame

Very dull. Considering the brilliant films Spielberg has directed this is the lamest. Self indulgent, painfully slow storyline. One to avoid

Dull, dull, dull. Don’t bother. Really obvious and thin plot. The DVD box said it was a laugh out loud’ film… it isn’t. Didn’t even raise a smile in our house.

Not very Rom or Com. Paper thin plot, couldn't care less about the characters or the story. Gave up after 45 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend
