I actually loved it. My friends and family gave me a lot of stick for choosing this as my Friday night cinema viewing, but they were wrong. The story is beautifully told with no cliches and nothing predictable about it. There was no sermonising but it was extremely thought-provoking. It provided a very interesting take on family life with some surprising twists. The cinematography is beautiful and the pace of the film is beautifully judged. The most endearing thing about the film is its uncompromising honesty. Aslaug is the star in many ways. Thank you, Erlend and the whole Mo family for a great watch in the week of COP26.
