...the look of love...is in your eyes...
...a look that timmmeee...can't erase..."
Fantastical finale to 40 years of a soap saga. The Cast, the writing, director, crew, production " kept it simple, stopped" by telling a straightforward narrative and not repurposing or reinventing the Star Wars World.
Easily it could have been dragged into the Netherworlds of multiverse/multidimensional/alternative-Nthdimensionality sequels and prequels goes these days.
Star War-Nistas will be delighted it didn't.
You don't need to remake Captain Kirk or Spock or Uhura, they're fantastical legends. Neither Star Wars.
The epic story is the backdrop of all the characters we love as old friends and family...that's why we go to sequels, we already know whassup!
If you're a critic of this film or films like these, stay home ! No one forced you to see this. Save what you spend on your ticket and go buy lunch and sit and watch pigeons in a park or go to the zoo. That's your entertainment.
Thesea pro-peeps spend time, expertise to entertain you for the price of a drink and peanuts; and you flip them off as if you can do better. Get a life.
Great story, acting, and thrills!
Its Star Wars not Shakespeare!
And oooo-were it's fun!
The narrative has always been about good vs evil, the use of your siddhis, powers, abilities...your choices colored by your upbringing.
No matter the best or worst intentions of the plan makers, whether they a doo-folders or evil do-ers, the flie in the ointment is choice.
In this case, a mother's unconditional love is the ultimate influence for compassion, sacrifice, and surrendering. The ultimate kingpin in making choices.
The only thing you take with you when you pass away is the love you have given...when you forget yourself for others do you really go peacefully.
The Star Wars Legacy.
It's hidden among the light saber duels.
Love is all you need ...
And speaking of love
....love is a battlefield..."
These two should get a room! And can I watch? Seriously, the tension was electrical. I love the added love dimension.
So many love songs could fit here to give it that tingling take
What's love got to do with it
One last kiss
All I want for Christmas is you
Some enchanted evening
I will always love you
The greatest love of all is happening to me and don't forget
"Love is a Battlefield"
just saying.
Go bring your friends, don't let anyone steer you away for seeing this.
It's great Star Wars Campfire Storytelling.
Enjoyable, spectacular, and epic.
And
...A little bit of love makes it right....
Hey, hey.
